The Lucida Puppy Fund was established to help pay for veterinary costs for puppies under six months old available for adoption. From our experience many puppies that are pulled from high kill shelters or found as strays are subject to extreme living conditions and end up having additional medical issues. Their immune systems are not fully developed and this increases the likelihood of them needing extra veterinary attention. The Lucida Puppy Fund will help reduce costs incurred by these veterinary bills.

We are now opening up the puppy blog to all Chicagoland rescues that have puppies under 6 months of age available for adoption! If you are a puppy foster parent or represent a rescue, please email info@lucidapuppyfund.org for more information.
